Integrations

Tinfoil needs nothing but NeoForge. It has no Java integration code for JEI, EMI or Jade; Patchouli gets a data-only book. What other mods show of it comes from the standard data every mod provides.

modwhat works todaywhat a plugin would add
JEI / EMIall blocks and items appear; crafting and stonecutter recipes show up (vanilla recipe types), so every family is browsable from its entry blocka "relic" category explaining artifacts and caches; hiding the internal blocks (waterfall mist)
Jadeblock names, the mod name and the harvest tool (from the mineable/* tags)a relic cache's original block id and item count; a statue's Founder and scheme
PatchouliThe Dossier (tinfoil:dossier), data-only book, see below–
Ad AstraAd Astra dimensions are ported like any other (same ids); /tinfoil anomaly satellite places the black satellite in orbit; reaching orbit unlocks a Dossier entry–
KubeJSrecipes, tags, tooltips and the relic origin component, see modpack-devs–

When integrations land they live in mod/src/main/java/de/benkl/tinfoil/compat/<modid>/, guarded by ModList.isLoaded(...), as optional dependencies in neoforge.mods.toml, and are documented here. Until then the compatibility checks in compat-report are about Tinfoil running alongside ATM10, not about plugins.

Patchouli: the Dossier

If Patchouli is installed (ATM10 ships it), Tinfoil adds The Dossier (tinfoil:dossier): a leaked case file with nine chapters (survey markers, Atlantis, the fold, the Founders, out-of-place artifacts, the Agency, the sky, cryptids, the mural). Entries tied to a tinfoil:dossier/* advancement stay locked until you've earned it: find a Founder's colossus, stand in a waterfall's mist, break a relic cache, wear the hat, reach orbit. Recipe: book + foil sheet (only loaded when Patchouli is present). Content: assets/tinfoil/patchouli_books/dossier/.
