case file TF-01 · a minecraft mod · neoforge 1.21.1
TinfoilThey don't want you to build this.
A decor and worldgen mod where every conspiracy theory is true at the same time. Megalith stone, sunken marble, agency alloy and ley lights. Plateaus with waterfalls. Giant stone colossi that look exactly like your friends. And a mountain that's trying to tell you something.
A replacement palette. Blocks shaped and coloured to slot into builds where other mods' marble, bricks, shingles, catwalks and furniture used to be. A marble pillar stays a marble pillar; it just becomes anAtlantean marble pillar.
The world around it. Folds, waterfalls, overgrown ruins and anomalies, so the seams between an old world and a new one look like they share a hidden history.
One crafting recipe per family, the rest on the stonecutter. Vanilla-style 16×16 pixel art with glowing ley channels, every texture drawn for this mod. Tagged, mineable, and fine as plain decor in any 1.21.1 world.
Survey site, blue hour. Note the effigies.attachment A-1 · rendered from the mod's own models
Agency desks and chairs. Amphorae and a crystal skull. A gear mechanism older than history. Crates stamped weather balloon. Glyph lanterns, ley braziers, a Tesla coil, an antenna array, a specimen tank, and effigies of the grey visitor, big-foot, the moth-man and the lake serpent. One model each, all original.

Old terrain and new terrain never line up. Tinfoil doesn't hide the step, it makes it the feature: the land looks like it buckled around your base when the Visitors left.
Plateaus and basins. Raised where the base sits high, sunken where it sits low, tilted where it's both.
Terraced cliffs. Layered strata with a band of megalith stone, ledges, caves and a door that doesn't open.
Massive waterfalls. Rivers routed to the edge, falls up to seven wide, plunge pools and mist.
The seam. A moat where the old land meets the new, springs pouring into it, and a green belt of moss, ferns and little trees with glow berries.
Overgrowth and ruins. Vines, moss, signal moss that glows when it's listening; broken arches, colonnades, a fountain that still runs.
Never writes inside a base. Preview with particles, apply, undo: /tinfoil fold.

Exhibit D
Exhibit D — the founders
Five giants. Your faces.
Ancient Islands rise out of land and sea with falls on every side and ruins in the ferns. Each is crowned by a Founder's colossus: a giant stone statue, built block by block from a player's skin. They stood there before history began. They look exactly like the people on your server. Coincidence?
One skin pixel, one cube of stone. 32 blocks tall, or 64, or 96.
Three schemes. Atlantean marble with gold, Bermuda stone with a teal glow, megalith limestone with signal-green eyes.
Three poses. Standing, one arm to the sky, both arms raised.
Pristine or ruined. Crisp on a carved plinth, the name set into the floor in glyphs, or cracked, tilted, half sunk and overgrown, the head lying at its feet.
Your players, not ours: [statues] players in the config. Skins are cached, so a statue keeps its face.

Recorded in game: All the Mods 10 plus Tinfoil, shaders on, our old server's base after the port with its folded borders. No edits. The Agency maintains it was a weather balloon.

Exhibit FExhibit F — it's all connected
Pin it. String it.
The Dossier in your hand, a hat on your head, a board on your wall, and things in the sky that only show up when nobody's filming. Every theory is true at once, and they're all connected.
The Dossier · guidebook
A leaked case file, in your inventory.
Nine chapters, one per theory: survey markers, Atlantis, the fold, the Founders, out-of-place artifacts, the Agency, the sky, cryptids, the mural.
Every entry starts blacked out entirely. The bars lift as you find things: a colossus, the mist at the foot of a fall, a cracked relic cache, orbit.
Patchouli book · ATM10 ships it
The tinfoil hat
“They can't read you now.” Blocks the Signal Static near anomalies. Somewhere, it's not optional.
Saucer flybysnight only · lights only · look up from a foldblock · conspiracy board
Your own wall of string.
A cork board block. Pin items, maps and photos, run red string from board to board, and let it list the anomalies you've found.

The mountain mural
The highest peak near spawn has a carving: glyphs, a saucer, an eye, a pattern of dots. The mural is a map. The map is redacted redacted. It wantsa place, a time andsomething else.
Spoiler-free hints are in the Dossier. The answers are in the game, not on this page.

Bermuda zones
Compasses spin near Bermuda stone and over some stretches of ocean. Your compass would like a word.
It's all connected.
Every anomaly has its own switch in the config. Signal Static, flybys, crop circles, the spinning compass: on by default, off if you'd rather not know.
Exhibit GExhibit G — operation moving day
We moved a world. Nothing was lost.
Tinfoil was made to carry our server's world from All of Fabric 7 (Fabric, 1.20.1) to All the Mods 10 (NeoForge, 1.21.1). Different loader, different version, more than a hundred mods that don't exist in the new pack. Every block came along anyway.
01 · census
423,742 chunks scanned, 1,122 of them built by players, in nine clusters.
02 · remap offline
Every block, item, biome and block entity id rewritten before the new game ever sees a chunk. Strict mode fails on any id without a home.
03 · give it a home
About 420 player-placed blocks had no match in the new pack. They became Tinfoil's families and decor.
04 · keep the rest
Containers the new pack can't hold are sealed in relic caches; unknown items become relic artifacts that remember their original id and data.
05 · safety net
The mod carries the same tables as legacy ids, so a missed block loads as its replacement, not as air.
06 · scan
/tinfoil scan compares every chunk with what the porter expected. Then the fold.

Our server pack is ATM10 plus Tinfoil and nothing else, so it had to get along with everything in it. No dependencies besides NeoForge; everything lives in the tinfoil: namespace, and the legacy aliases never shadow another mod's ids.

Every anomaly has an off switch.
One common file, one section per system. Put in your own Founders, size the colossi, thin the overgrowth, switch the Ancient Islands on, keep the saucers. Statue schemes, ruin schemes and crop-circle patterns are data, so pack makers can add their own.

Exhibit JExhibit J — the evidence itself
Our world. Take it.
Schnopzo-Bashi, the server Tinfoil was made for: every base, folded and ready for an All the Mods 10 8.4 server. Same seed, so the new land meets the old exactly. Sleep is set to half the players. Every new agent arrives the same way, and nobody remembers how.
Tinfoil is a game. Real myths, folklore and conspiracy theories, drawn our own way: playful, curious, never mean, and never about real people or groups. Nothing in it claims a theory is true outside the game.
(Which is exactly what they would want us to say.)
